RIC loans unlocking potential of farm businesses
To build a resilient and modern farming business, positive cash flow is essential. The Regional Investment Corporation (RIC) is helping primary producers to diversify and move their businesses into the future.
The RIC has recently appointed Tasmanian, Susie Lohrey as the TAS/VIC/SA Business Development Manager. With a strong background in agriculture, Susie is well placed to work with industry organisations, rural financial counsellors, local banks and accountants to build awareness of the RIC.
“Our 10-year low interest loans are a smart source of finance for farmers to access. They are designed to help regional Australians create a better future.” Susie said.
RIC CEO, Bruce King said “…the federally funded low interest loans would help farmers get ahead in their business”.
“We know primary producers are in the best position to make decisions about what to do with the funding we provide. It’s a really great opportunity for them to get their new business ideas off the ground and improve their productivity and profitability” said Mr King.
